Senior leader of Nepali Congress Dr. Shekhar Koirala has said the party made a mistake by giving the vote of confidence to the government.
Speaking in the meeting of the non-establishment faction held at Battisputali this morning, Koirala said the party made a mistake by giving the vote of confidence to the government led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda.’
“We made a mistake by giving the vote of confidence to the government. I had suggested to remain neutral in the central work execution committee meeting,” the leader quoted Koirala as saying, “But my plea fell on deaf years.”
NC leader Chandra Bhandari said the party has initiated discussions to narrow down the assorted views regarding the vote of confidence arising from various leaders within the party.
