Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and newly-elected Speaker of the House of Representatives Devraj Ghimire held a meeting this morning.
Matters related to the contemporary affairs were discussed in the meeting held at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar.
This is Speaker Ghimire's first meeting with the Prime Minister after being elected to the post.
Ghimire was elected to the post of the Speaker on January 19 with support from the ruling parties. He had received support from the CPN-UML, CPN (Maoist Center), Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janamat Party and Janata Samajbadi Party to secure the position.
