The election for the post of chairman of the National Assembly is scheduled for February 6.
In a meeting of the upper House held this afternoon, NA Chairman Ganesh Timalsina set February 6 for the election of the chairman.
Meanwhile, Timalsina directed Dr. Bharat Raj Gautam, the general secretary of the federal parliament secretariat, to make the election schedule public.
“The election for the chairman of the National Assembly has been fixed at 11:49 am on February 6 in accordance with the Rule 8 of National Assembly Regulations, 2075. I direct general secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat Dr. Bharat Raj Gautam to make the election date public,” said Timalsina.
