Rabi Lamichhane has been reappointed as the chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
A central committee meeting of the party held at the central party office in Dhumbarahi on Sunday evening appointed Lamichhane to the post.
Lamichhane had lost all the constitutional posts including the chairman of the party after the Supreme Court issued a verdict declaring him a non-citizen on the ground of not retaining the citizenship certificate of Nepal on Friday.
With the retrieval of the Nepali citizenship certificate on Sunday afternoon, Lamichhane has now taken charge of the party chairman.
Earlier, on Friday, Vice Chairman Dol Prasad Aryal had taken the responsibility of the chairman.
