An office-bearers’ meeting of CPN (Maoist Center) is taking place at the party central party office at Paris Danda in Koteshwor.
It is learnt that the meeting will discuss the Ministry of Home Affairs as an agenda in today's meeting.
Earlier, the Ministry of Home Affairs was with the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) led by Rabi Lamichhane, but the ministry was withdrawn after Lamichhane's Nepali citizenship was declared illegal by the Supreme Court.
Lamichhane lost the position of Deputy Prime Minister and the Home Minister, after his citizenship was declared illegal.
On Sunday, after regaining the Nepali citizenship from the district administration office (DAO), Kathmandu, he reclaimed the post of home minister again.
Prime Minister Dahal, during a meeting with Lamichhane yesterday, said that he would call a meeting of party office-bearers' and discuss the latest political developments including the issue surrouning the Home Ministry.
