Foreign Minister Dr. Bimala Rai Paudyal and Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal Salahuddin Noman Chowdhury held a meeting at Singh Durbar on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Foreign Minister Rai Paudyal requested Ambassador Chaudhary to start flight services from Bhairahawa International Airport to Dhaka.
In the meeting, there was also a discussion about enhancing cooperation and partnership between Nepal and Bangladesh in tourism, trade and agriculture sectors.
On the occasion, Ambassador Chowdhury asked Foreign Minister Rai Paudyal to hold talks with Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen, towards bolstering bilateral ties during the Sri Lanka's 75th Independence Day to be held on February 4.
