Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', who is also the chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center), and the chairman of the CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli are holding a meeting at Baluwatar.

Rabi Lamichhane, who resigned from the post of Home Minister over the citizenship case, has taken the stand that he should be made the Home Minister again.

But, Prime Minister Prachanda has no intention of repeating him as the Home Minister since the passport issue against Lamichhane is still ongoing.

On Tuesday morning, Lamichhane met with Prime Minister Dahal and asked the latter to re-appoint him as the Home Minister saying that the post of the Home Ministry had been allocated to the RSP in the power-sharing deal sealed among the coalition partners.

Prime Minister Dahal, following the office-bearers' meeting of the Maoist Center yesterday, said he has been advised not to take an immediate decision on the Home Ministry until the full text comes from the Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has warned that it will pull out of the government if it is not given the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Against this backdrop, two heavyweights are holding a meeting.
