NC calls PP meeting

To dwell on NA vice chair’s election

Main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has called a parliamentary party (PP) meeting for Thursday.

The PP meeting will be held at the party President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Dhumbarahi tomorrow morning.

The meeting will dwell on the elections of the vice chairman of the National Assembly, according to Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak.

“Prime Minister Deuba has called a PP meeting at 9 am tomorrow at the latter's residence in Dhumbarahi,” said Lekhak.

Led by President Deuba, the NC PP meeting has two Vice Presidents Dhan Raj Gurung and Purna Bahadur Khadka, two General Secretaries Bishwa Prakash Sharma and Gagan Thapa, Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak, National Assembly PP leader Ramesh Jung Rayamajhi and Whip Anita Devkota as members.
