Main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) is holding a parliamentary party (PP) meeting today (Thursday).
The PP meeting will be held at the party President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Dhumbarahi at 9 am.
The meeting will dwell on the elections of the vice chairman of the National Assembly, according to Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak.
“Prime Minister Deuba has called a PP meeting this morning. The meeting will be focused on the elections of vice chairman of the National Assembly,” said Lekhak.
Led by President Deuba, the NC PP meeting has two Vice Presidents Dhan Raj Gurung and Purna Bahadur Khadka, two General Secretaries Bishwa Prakash Sharma and Gagan Thapa, Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak, National Assembly PP leader Ramesh Jung Rayamajhi and Whip Anita Devkota as members.
