Home Minister of Malaysia Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has arrived in Kathmandu.

Home Minister Saifuddin landed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) this evening, leading a 15-member delegation.

Joint Secretary Danduraj Ghimire, who is also the spokesperson at the Ministry of Labor, informed that the Home Minister of Malaysia will have a separate meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and Labor Employment and Social Security Minister Dol Prasad Aryal on Friday.

Even though Malaysian Home Minister Saifuddin was scheduled to meet with Foreign Minister Bimala Rai Paudyal, he will not be able to do so since she has gone to Sri Lanka.

Recently, the Malaysia government has announced that it will take in 500,000 workers from around the globe. Home Minister Saifuddin will hold talks with the Nepal government about taking Nepali workers.

The matter will be discussed with the team of the Ministry of Labor on Friday.

Home Minister Saifuddin is scheduled to return home on Saturday.
