Malaysian Home Minister holding meeting with Labor Minister Aryal today

Malaysian Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, who arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday evening, is holding talks with the Nepal government on the Foreign Worker Employment Relaxation Plan today.

Home Minister Saifuddin is holding talks with the Minister for Labor, Employment, and Social Security Dol Prasad Aryal at the Soaltee Crowne Plaza at 10 am today, said Joint Secretary Danduraj Ghimire, who is also the spokesperson at the Labor Ministry.

Malaysia has recently announced that it will take in 500,000 migrant workers from around the globe including Nepal and Bangladesh.

Saifuddin, who landed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) yesterday evening, leading a 15-member delegation, stayed at Hotel Hyatt Regency in Bouddha.

Home Minister of Malaysia is also scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' today.

Home Minister Saifuddin is scheduled to return home on Saturday.
