Ranjit Kumar Pal, a Nepali expatriate in Qatar, won 23 million dirhams (about 820 million Nepalese rupees) in Series 248 of the Big Ticket Raffle draw held in Abu Dhabi.
He has been working in the money exchange company in the capital of Qatar for seven years and bought ticket number 232936 on January 16.
Father of two sons aged five and 10, Pal was overjoyed to hear the news of this unexpected draw from Big Ticket representatives.
