PM instructs Agriculture Minister to solve Chitwan farmers' problem

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has drawn attention to the incident of Chitwan farmers throwing vegetables on the road for not getting a fair price.

In this regard, the executive head has instructed the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development to address the demands of farmers.

On Friday, farmers of Chitwan threw vegetables on the road saying that they were not getting fair prices for vegetables and other agricultural products.

Prime Minister Dahal has directed the Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister Jwalakumari Sah to take initiatives to solve the problem.

PM Dahal also instructed Minister Sah, who is in Chiwatan, to discuss with the concerned farmers and inform him about it.

Following the instructions of the Prime Minister, Minister Shah said that she will discuss with the concerned farmers and take necessary steps to solve the problem and if more policy support is required, she will request the Prime Minister.

After the agriculture minister returns from the discussions with the concerned farmers, the prime minister is also prepared to call the ministers, secretaries and other government officials for further discussions.
