CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said (that) the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) is restless after being deprived of power.

Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) today, Oli criticized the NC saying that it started becoming restless after CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal became the prime minister of Nepal on December 25.

“The NC could not form a government after the results of November 20 elections came out,” said Oli, “I formed this government by uniting fringe parties which brought a new enthusiasm among the Nepali people. However, some political forces are playing a foul game to push the country into instability,” said Oli, referring to the NC.

Oli described NC as an enigmatic element after it gave the vote of confidence to the Prachanda-led government on January 10 and fielded a candidate against the UML candidate.
