Soaltee Hotel posts a net profit of Rs 301.7 m following exit of its Hong Kong partner

To distribute Rs 210 m cash dividends

Soaltee Crowne Plaza has improved its financial transaction following the exit of its Hong Kong partner.

In the previous fiscal year (2078/79 BS), Soaltee Hotel earned a net profit of Rs 301.7 million after its Hong Kong partner Holiday Inn parted its way.

The hotel has also decided to distribute dividends and bonus shares to its investors this year.

According to the company, it is planning to distribute Rs 210 million including bonus shares, cash dividends to its shareholders.

In the fiscal year 2077/78 BS, it had posted a loss of Rs 224.9 million.

Compared to the previous fiscal year, the total income of the company has increased by 202 percent.

The company which had a total income of Rs 453.9 million in the previous fiscal year 2077/78 BS, posted a total income of Rs 1.37 billion during fiscal year 2078/79 BS.

The financial statement shows that the reserve fund of this hotel is Rs 891.2 million while that of paid-up capital is put at Rs 842.5 million.

Issuing a notice on Wednesday, the company has proposed to give a dividend of 26.32 percent of the current paid-up capital to the shareholders.

The company has said that it will distribute 5 percent bonus shares and 21.32 percent cash dividends.

The distribution of the bonus shares and dividends will come into effect once it is passed by the general meeting, according to the company rules.
