A virtual meeting of the Central Committee of CPN (Maoist Center) is taking place this evening at 5 pm.
Shriram Dhakal, treasurer of the party informed to this effect.
According to him, Party Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal will address the meeting.
"The meeting will be held through virtual means from 5 o'clock", Dhakal told Nepalkhabar, "The president is scheduled to address the meeting."
Earlier, the standing committee meeting held at the party’s central office Parisdanda had decided to call the meeting of the central committee through virtual means.
Dhakal said the Zoom ID and password for the virtual meeting will be shared through relevant means.
There are 22 officials, 44 permanent committee members, 386 central committee members and 222 alternate central committee members in the Maoist Center.
The office bearers and the central committee got full shape from the standing committee meeting held earlier.
