Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Thapa have held a meeting.
The meeting between Prime Minister Prachanda and General Secretary Thapa took place at a time when the NC is staking a claim for the post of President.
Sources close to General Secretary Thapa have confirmed that the two leaders met on Thursday morning.
The two leaders discussed issues including contemporary politics in the meeting.
