The Nepal government has observed the 73rd Democracy Day amidst a special ceremony at Army Pavilion in Tundikhel on Sunday.
President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Speaker among other high-ranking government officials attended the program.
The Democracy Day is observed on Falgun 7 (Nepali month) every year to commemorate the end of the 104-year-long Rana oligarchy.
The Falgun 7 is regarded as the historic day in the political history of Nepal.
The federal democratic republican governing system has now been established in Nepal on the foundation of democracy.
