Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane's case is being heard today (Monday) again.
Justices Sapana Pradhan Malla and Kumar Chudal are hearing the case that was heard on Sunday.
After Sandeep, accused in the minor rape case, was released on bail by the High Court, Patan, the Attorney General's Office appealed to the Supreme Court, demanding that he be kept in custody.
Similarly, Sandeep Lamichhane also filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding that he be allowed to go to foreign lands to play.
The petition filed by the Attorney General's Office against the order of the High Court to release Lamichhane and the petition filed by Lamichhane seeking permission to go abroad to play cricket matches were heard in the closed bench on Sunday.
Sanjeev Regmi and Somkant Bhandari, co-advocates of the Attorney General's office argued that the High Court's order to release him on bail was flawed.
