According to the Nepal Electricity Authority NEA, the work of the Chinese companies Guangxi Transmission and Substation Construction Co and Shenzhen Clou Electronics, which has been given the contract for the construction of the 220 KV substation under construction in Sindhupalchok, is not satisfactory.

Kulman Ghising, Managing Director MD of the Authority, visited the substation construction site on Wednesday and warned the companies to complete the construction by next June.

Out of the 102 megawatts under construction at Sindhupalchowk under the leadership of Chilime Hydropower Company, the power of the Bhotekoshi Hydropower Project will be connected to twelve substations.

The project is being built with the goal of completing the construction by June.

If this substation is not constructed, Madhyabhotekoshi's electricity will be wasted as it cannot be connected to the national transmission system.

MD Ghising has warned that if such a situation occurs, the contractor company will have to bear the wastage from its daily income from the sale of the 102 MW power project.
