Pakistani President Dr. Arif Alvi on Friday congratulated Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel on his election to the post of President of Nepal.
President Dr. Alvi, in a twitter message, said he would look forward to working with President Poudel for the advancement of Pakistan-Nepal relations.
"Warm felicitations to Right Honorable Ram Chandra Poudel on his election as the President of Nepal. Look forward to working with him for advancement of Pakistan-Nepal relations," the President tweeted.
Poudel was elected as the third president of Nepal on March 9.
