Napoli defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 3-nil easily, and Victor Osimhen scored twice as Napoli advanced to the Champions League quarterfinals for the first time.
The Nigeria striker's thunderous header in first-half stoppage time at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona calmed any residual concerns with Luciano Spalletti's team leading by two goals from the first leg.
Eight minutes after the break, Osimhen extended the Italians' advantage with a close-range goal off a cross from Giovanni di Lorenzo, and after Piotr Zielinski was fouled in the box, he personally converted the penalty to make it 3-0.
"We want to enjoy the moment and look ahead. It's a great win, we re-wrote the history of this club," Osimhen said.
"We keep dreaming, we don't have limits. We follow our coach and look ahead."
Napoli enters the round of eight with a solid chance to contend for the soccer world championship thanks to its dominating 18-point advantage at the top of Serie A.
