Krishna Lamichhane, a campaigner of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), who was found dead in his residence in Texas, USA, has been consigned to flames.
His final rites were performed in Texas itself as per the religious tradition. His two daughters lit his funeral pyre.
A huge number of Nepali diaspora attended the funeral rites of Lamichhane who passed away in his home on Tuesday.
Former Chairman of Nepali Public Relations Committee, Texas, USA, Lamichhane used to help the Nepali community in Texas in their need. The funeral attendees paid last respect to him recalling his selfless contribution and service he rendered to them during his life.
According to his relatives, he had been stressed by family problems for a long time.
Originally from Gorkha, Nepal, Lamichhane was living in Texas, America with his wife and daughters.
