Veenuma Pahim Limbu has won the crown of Miss Limbu 2079.
Along with the crown, Veenuma also won a trip to Hongkong, along with a scooter and a cash prize of Rs 100,000.
Likewise, Kajal Seling Limbu and Muna Chemjong were announced the first runner-up and second runner-up, respectively.
The winners received cash prizes of Rs 100,000 and Rs 50,000.
A total of 18 girls from the Limbu community participated in this year's Miss Limbu which was organized by Yakthung Youth Association.
While congratulating the program, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kiranti said such programs are also helping revive the original culture of the community.
Senior artist Sunil Thapa, former Miss Nepal Malvika Subba among others distributed prizes to the winning contestants.
