PM's Three Nations Cup: Nepal lift trophy

Nepal have won the title of Prime Minister’s Three Nations Cup Football Tournament.

Nepal managed to retain the title by defeating Laos 2-1 in the final match at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar on Friday evening.

Manish Dangi and Ayush Ghalan scored one goal each to help Nepal emerge victorious. Ayush Ghalan scored the first goal in the 24th minute of the first half. Then in the 87th minute of the game, Manish Dangi scored and managed to win the title for Nepal.

Along with the title, Nepal have received USD 5,000 while Runner-up Laos received USD 3,000.

In the 17th minute of the match, Photthavong Sangvilay's goal gave Laos an early lead against the home team. Nepal equalized after Ayush Ghalan scored a goal in the 24th minute of the match.

In the 87th minute of the game, Manish scored another goal capitalizing on the pass from Anjan to lead the match to 2-1.

Manish Dangi is declared the man of the match.
