Nepal entered into the final of the ACC Premier Cup after the match was affected by the incessant rain on Saturday.
Nepal reached the final after the match could not start due to heavy rain while Kuwait were chasing the 281-run target. The match was stopped after the opponent scored 37 runs losing six wickets in 8.3 overs held at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Prior to that, Kuwait were in trouble with the lethal bowling of Nepal's all-rounder Karan KC. After losing six wickets in 8.2 overs, Kuwait were in trouble.
Karan KC, who bowled lethally, took five wickets in 43 overs with one maiden conceding 10 runs. Another wicket for Nepal was taken by Sompal Kami. Karan caught out four Kuwaiti batsmen, showing them the way to the pavilion.
Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Nepal notched up 281 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 42 overs. But based on the Duckworth-Lewis method, Nepal set a target of 281 runs for Kuwait.
Rohit and Kushal shared a partnership of 109 runs for the fourth wicket. Rohit was caught out for 94 runs.
Rohit, who faced 95 balls, hit seven fours and three sixes. Rohit, who was in the mood to play a long shot, missed out on a century when he was caught out by Patel off Aslam's ball.
Kushal was caught out for 57 runs. Kushal, who faced 44 balls and hit four fours and four sixes, was caught out by Mohammed Aslam.
Openers Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh shared a partnership of 77 runs for the first wicket. Kuwait's Adnan Idrees caught out both the openers. The opener, who was criticized for his bad start recently, gave Nepal a great start.

Aarif Sheikh was run out for 19 runs. Sandeep Lamichhane was out for five runs and Bhim Sarki was out for one run. Dipendra Singh Airee was ducked out. Karan KC was dismissed for seven runs. Sompal Kami remained not out for 13 and Lalit Rajbanshi for zero runs.
Mohammad Aslam and Adnan of Kuwait took three wickets each. Yasin Patel and Sayed Monib took one wicket each.
