The sons of former Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal and his security advisor Indrajit Rai have also been dragged into the fake Bhutanese refugee case.

Indrajit was arrested on Tuesday on charges of defrauding over 50 million rupees in the case of sending Nepali people as fake Bhutanese refugees to the United States.

His son Niraj Rai has also been dragged into the case of his father's arrest. Police have issued an arrest warrant against him and started searching.

Similarly, an arrest warrant has also been issued against former Home Minister Thapa's son Pratik Thapa. Both of them have been accused of making fake Bhutanese refugees and sending the Nepalis to US and taking millions of rupees.

Police have already arrested Tek Narayan Pandey, the secretary at the Vice President's office, on the charge of providing files of Bhutanese refugees to the racketeers only on Wednesday.

He was accused of handing over files of Bhutanese refugees to them while he was at the Home Ministry. Indrajit and Keshav Dulal, who were arrested earlier, have already recorded statements.
