50 units of electricity to be provided for free in rainy season and 30 units in winter

The government is planning to provide 50 units of electricity in the rainy seasons and 30 units in winter for free.

Unveiling the policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year, President Ram Chandra Paudel said the government has adopted a policy to replace cooking gas with electric stoves.

Emphasis will be placed on the expansion of transmission lines for the consumption of electricity generated in Nepal.

There is a program to build a watershed project at the upper level of the river.
