Women T20I:  Nepal lose to Malaysia by 5 wickets

Nepal lost to Malaysia by five wickets in the first match of the Women T20I held in Malaysia on Monday.

 This is the first time, Nepali team lost to Malaysia.

Malaysia reached the modest target of 51 runs set by Nepal losing five wickets in 13.2 overs.

Opener Wan Julia Wan Mohd Rosdi scored 13 runs in Malaysia's win.

Nepal's Sita Rana Magar took two wickets with one maiden in 4 overs for 13 runs.

Captain Rubina Chhetri Belbase took two wickets giving away seven runs in four overs while Kabita Kunwar took one wicket for Nepal.

Earlier, invited to bat first after losing the toss, Nepal were all out for 50 runs in 16.5 overs.

Nepal's Samjhana Khadka scored the highest 13 runs in her debut match. No other batswoman could reach double-digit runs.
