With the temperature increasing across the country, the normal life of the general public in Nepal has been affected.
The mercury has gone up from the Everest Base Camp down to the Terai for the last two weeks with no signs of clouds or rain.
Schools in most of the Terai districts have been closed due to the sudden rise in temperature in the past few days, while life in the central hills and cities is also becoming difficult.
Due to the sweltering heat, the number of patients in the hospital has also increased. There has been rise in the consumption of cold drinks like lassi, curd, soda, etc, while the number of people resorting to boating in the Phewa Lake of Pokhara is increasing to escape the searing heat every single day.
