The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) went up by 40.48 percent on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.
The benchmark index increased by 40.48 percent to settle at 1980.09 points.
The SEPSE posted a transaction of Rs 3.45 billion in today market, the highest in 79 days of transaction.
As many as 275 companies which were involved in today’s transaction posted a turnover Rs 3.45 billion.
The index which slipped by 100 points last week has gained pace today yet again.
With the liquidity crunch improving gradually in banks and financial institutes, a positive sign was witnessed in the market.
The number of share-secured loans are also gradually increasingly, of late. This will also bring positive impacts on the share market in the upcoming days.
Similarly, the share value of Bhugol Energy Development, that has recently issued IPO, has increased by 10 percent.
Citizen Investment Fund (CIF) has made the highest turnover of Rs 114.7 million rupees today.
