Power trade will be a milestone in Nepal-Bangladesh ties: Ambassador Chowdhury

Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal Salahuddin Noman Chowdhury paid a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayankaji Shrestha at the Ministry of Home Affairs today.

On the occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha said that the recent agreement on power trade has further strengthened the cordial relations between Nepal and Bangladesh.

Likewise, Ambassador Chowdhury expressed his hope that the power trade agreement will be a milestone in the relationship between the two countries.

During the meeting, the Ambassador requested Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha to be the chief guest at the art exhibition to be hosted by the Embassy on June 23, according to the Secretariat of the Deputy Prime Minister.

The art exhibition titled 'Love and Language' is going to be held on the occasion of World Mother Tongue Day and creations by 35 Nepali artists will also be exhibited, said the organizers.
