Bagmati Province allots Rs 7.56 bln budget for local units

Bagmati Province has distributed four kinds of budget to the local governments on Friday.

Unveiling the budget at the province assembly meeting today, Minister for Economic Affairs Bahadur Singh Lama informed that Rs 7.56 billion has been appropriated for the local units under these grants.

According to Minister Lama, Rs 1.66 billion has been allocated in equalization grant, Rs 2.82 in conditional grant, Rs 2.35 billion in supplementary grant and Rs 737.2 million has been appropriated in special grant.
