Karnali Province government has allocated a total budget of 33 billion 379 million 707 thousand rupees for the next financial year 2023/24.
Making the budget public on Friday, Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Minister Bed Raj Singh said, Rs 9.002 billion (26.97 percent) has been allocated for current expenditure, 19 billion 577 million 43 thousand (58.65 percent) for capital and 4.8 billion for financial transfers at the local level.
He presented an estimate of 836.2 million 12 thousand from internal revenue and 8.83 billion from the federal government's revenue distribution and 761.6 million from federal grants.
