Sudurpaschim Province government has presented a budget of 29 billion 265 million 932 thousand rupees for the next fiscal year 2023/24.
Of the total budget, 9.59 billion have been allocated for current expenditure and 17 billion 22 million 300 thousand rupees have been allocated for capital expenditure.
Likewise, 2 billion 340 million rupees has been allocated for the transfer of inter-governmental finance and 300 million rupees for the financial system.
The province government plans to raise 1.5 billion rupees from internal revenue, 9.41 billion from the revenue distributed by the Nepal government, 65.6 million from the federal revenue distribution, 8 billion 5 million 200 thousand rupees from the financial equalization grant,
4 billion 511 million 600 thousand from the conditional grant, 3 billion 860 million from the current financial year savings and, 770 million from supplementary grants and 620 million from special grants.
