Nepal have set a 291-run target for Zimbabwe in a match of the ICC ODI World Cup Qualifier.
Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Nepal notched 290 runs losing 8 wickets in the allotted 50 overs underway at the Harare Sports Club Ground in Zimbabwe on Sunday.
Opener Kushal Bhurtel topped the score with 99 runs studded with 13 fours and two sixes off 95 deliveries followed by Aasif Sheikh with 66 runs with seven fours. Similarly, Kushal Malla made 41 runs while Rohit Paudel contributed 31 runs.
In reply, Richard Ngarava claimed the highest four wickets, Wellington Masakadza grabbed two wickets while Tendai Chatara and Blessing Muzarabani took one wicket each.

In the World Cup Qualifiers, Nepal are in Group A alongside Zimbabwe, West Indies, Netherlands and America. Similarly, Sri Lanka, Scotland, Ireland, Oman and UAE are in Group B.
Nepal played two practice matches against Scotland in South Africa and Zimbabwe for World Cup Qualifiers.
