KMC unveils Rs 25.54 billion budget for FY 2023/24

This is 130 million more than the current fiscal budget

Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has made public the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2023/24 on Sunday.

This is Rs 130 million more than the budget of the current fiscal year. In the 13th Municipal Assembly held on Sunday, Sunita Dangol, the Deputy Mayor of the metropolis, announced a budget of 25 billion 547 million 820 thousand rupees for the next financial year.

Deputy Mayor Dangol has allocated a budget of 8 billion 615 million 328 thousand rupees for the current expenditures while 16 billion 932 million 492 thousand has rupees have been allocated for capital expenditures.

The metropolis had brought a budget of 25 billion 419 million 696 thousand rupees for the current financial year.
