Bharatpur Metropolis unveils budget Rs 6.31 billion for FY 2023/24

Chitwan's Bharatpur Metropolitan City has released a budget of 6 billion 317 million 900 thousand rupees for the fiscal year, 2023/24.

Deputy Mayor Chitrasen Adhikari presented the budget in a meeting of the 13th Municipal Assembly held on Sunday.

Of the total budget, Rs 1 billion 750 million from internal revenue, Rs 1 billion 839 million 900 thousand from higher governments in grants, Rs 548 million from revenue distribution and 500 million rupees from public participation will be collected, according to the metropolis. 

The budget has been allocated for areas such as procurement of disaster materials, proper storage, manpower mobilization, risk reduction program, relief distribution, and rehabilitation.

Similarly, it is said that the reconstruction of Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium will be constructed in collaboration with the federal government and Bagmati Province government for.

Rs 30 million has been already allocated to this effect, the metropolis said.
