Asar 15: Farmers busy planting paddy at Khokana (with photos)

The National Paddy Day, which falls on the Nepali month Asar 15, is being observed across the country.

Farmers are celebrating the Day by planting paddy seedlings and eating beaten rice with curd.

On Friday, farmers were busy planting paddy in various places of the Kathmandu Valley. In Nagarjuna, Kathmandu, the Youth Association Nepal close to CPN (UML) celebrated the Paddy Day.

Likewise, the farmers are also busy planting paddy at Khokana in Lalitpur, smearing slimy mud against each other.
