Nepal has won the title of the ACC Men's U-16 East Zone Cup 2023 held in Malaysia.
Held at the Bayuemas Oval ground in Malaysia on Tuesday, Nepal bowled out home team Malaysia for 31 runs in 14.5 overs while the later was following the 253-run target.
In the final match of the ACC Men’s U-16 East Zone Cup 2023, Nepal managed to register a 221-run win against the opponent, with the help of Naren Bhatta’s century and Abhishek Tiwari’s lethal bowling.
Malaysia’s Muhammad Akram collected 10 runs while other batsmen could not score double-digit runs.
To limit Malaysia to a low score, Abhishek took the highest five wickets including one maiden for seven runs.
Santosh Yadav grabbed three wickets including one maiden while Ashok Dhami and Sagar Gaire took one wicket each for Nepal.
