Robin Tamang, the famous singer of the Nepali rock band 'Robin and the New Revolution', has passed away.
The 60-year-old died on Tuesday evening at his residence in Budhanilkanth Municipality-5, Kathmandu.
District Police Range Kathmandu Chief SSP Dan Bahadur Karki has confirmed that Tamang was found dead at home.
According to Karki, Tamang's body was found in the bedroom of his two-story house. However, the cause of his death has not been revealed.
Rabin's death has also been confirmed by his sister Bhagwati Tamang. Robin's body has been kept at TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajganj for post-mortem.
Apart from singing, Tamang has also acted in many Nepali films.
