Locals have informed the police that Manang Air chopper has crashed at Lamajura in Dudhkunda Rural Municipality-2 in Solukhumbu district on Tuesday morning.
After being informed by a local that the chopper was crashed at Lamajura, a team of police from Beni Police Post and another team from District Police Office Solukhumbu have left for the accident site, said DIG Rajesh Nath Bastola, head of Koshi Province Police.
The helicopter took off from the Surke helipad at 10:05 am and went out of contact after 8 minutes.
As the helicopter was in contact till Lamajura in Dudhkunda Rural Municipality according to Lukla Tower.
