The Nepali Army team has removed a suspicious object planted in front of a jewelry shop in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.
The police immediately arrested one person on the charge of planting a suspicious object in front of Khotang Halesi Jewelers shop in Sinamangal, asking for money.
Khajanchi Paswan, a resident of Rautahat, who was staying in a hotel nearby the gold shop, was arrested by the police. Paswan has been kept in Gaushala Police Station.
"A young man was immediately arrested for planting a suspicious object on the side of the road leading to Old Baneshwar from Kathmandu Medical College," said SP Sitaram Rijal, the spokesperson of District Police Range Kathmandu.
There was tension in the area after a suspicious object was found near Khotang Halesi Jewelers on the Sinamangal-Old Baneshwar road.
A pamphlet found on the incident site read, “Proprietor of Khotang Halesi Jewelers, support our party Nepal Utthan Krantikari Party. We hope that with your help, our country and people will make great progress. An RDX bomb has been placed here. Be careful - Coordinator Saphal.”
