Youth leader Ranju Darshana has expressed her willingness to teach at a school.

Posting a message on social networking site on Wednesday, Darshana has said, “I am looking forward to teach at a school. Let’s connect if there’s such space, opportunity in your organization. I am also open for guest lectures on social science related subjects.”

Ranju, who has been active in politics from very young age, stole limelight after she contested the elections for the post of mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City in 2017, representing the Bibeksheel Sajha Party.

However, the BPS' influence and popularity gradually died down following the death of Ujwal Thapa, a popular leader of the party, and the intra-party conflict.

Once she also earned publicity by running a selroti (ring-shaped sweet made from rice flour) business in the federal capital.

Ranju Darshana is the incumbent general secretary of Bibeksheel Sajha Party. The general convention held in February 2023, appointed Darshana as the general secretary of the party.

She returned to the active role in the party following a long hiatus. She was not active in the party after the party witnessed internal differences.
