NEPSE down 28.59 points

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) went down by 28.59 points to settle at 2077.58 on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

Despite fall in the indexes, the bench mark index witnessed rise in the transactions amounting to 1.92 billion rupees today.

On Monday, the benchmark index witnessed a transaction of 1.82 billion rupees. The Sub group of non-life insurance has gone down by 2.47 percent today.

All the indexes except for mutual funds have witnessed a fall in prices.

Among those companies coming into transactions today, the prices of 17 companies went up while that of 196 took a nosedive. The price of three companies has remained stable.

The price of Super Madi Hydropower has gone down by 4.60 percent. Similarly, Kishan Laghubitta has gone down by 6.54 percent.

Likewise, Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower witnessed a transaction of Rs 874,000.
