Indigenous Peoples Day observed at Simaltar with gusto (with photos)

Today, August 9, is the 29th International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples.

On this occasion, Nyinba Youth Club organized a cultural program today with the slogan “Our Culture and Voice of Youth.”

CPN (UML) President KP Sharma Oli was the chief guest at the program organized at Simaltar in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu.

Oli, who is also a former Prime Minister of Nepal, reached the venue and addressed a gathering of indigenous nationalities.

Members from the tribal community clad in traditional attires and tableaus participated in the event.
