Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane will not be able to go with the Nepali national cricket team to participate in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

The final hearing of the case against Sandeep, who is accused of raping a minor, has been fixed for today.

Sandeep's lawyer Saroj Krishna Ghimire informed that Sandeep's China visit will be decided based on whether case is heard or not today.

Earlier, Sandeep had to go to play in the Asia Cup a few days after the team due to the pending case last August as well.

Although the hearing was fixed for August 27, he was able to go to Pakistan the next day after being told that the case would not be heard that day.
