The Nepal team has entered the semifinals of the PUBG Mobile's Peace Elite competition in the ongoing 19th Asian Games.
Nepal reached the semi-finals by remaining in top two positions in the quarter-finals held today from Group C.
Nepal will compete in a group with four other teams in the semi-finals on Saturday.
Both the group matches in the semi-finals will be played on Saturday. The top two finalists in the semi-finals will advance to the finals and win a medal.
The Nepali team consists of Subin Maharjan (captain), Dipesh Gurung, Sagar Bhandari, Sameer Gurung and Sangin Bhattarai. Victor Paudel is the team manager.
In the first stage of the game played at Hangzhou Sports Centre on Thursday, the Nepali players secured the second position in the group 'C' making their entry into the second round. South Korea has topped the group.
Nepal, Mongolia, South Korea and Vietnam are in the group 'C'.
