In the 19th Asian Games being held in Hangzhou city of China, Nepal's Ganesh Gurung has been selected for the semi-final in canyoning.
Gurung made to the semifinals after his participation in the hits for two stages. As per the provision, 16 players would play the match for the semifinals. Of the 16 players in the first hits, Gurung remained in the 14th position.
Eight players were selected for the semifinals from the first hits.
Likewise, in the second hits, Gurung was positioned sevenths out of eight competitors. All eight players have been selected for the semifinals from the second hits.
Of the 16 players, 10 would compete in the final of the canyoning.
