Seventy-two Nepali students awaiting rescue in Israel have been relocated to a safe haven. According to the Embassy of Nepal in Tel Aviv, Israel, they have been moved to a safer place from the northern border of Israel.
With this, the number of Nepali citizens to have been relocated to a safe place in Israel has reached 127.
Earlier, all 55 Nepali students who were working in an agricultural firm near the border area of Gaza were rescued and moved to a safer place with the help of security forces.
According to the embassy, more than 350 Nepali people in war-torn Israel have filled out forms online seeking repatriation.
The embassy claims that the process of their safe repatriation has been initiated.
It is reported that the health condition of four Nepalis, who sustained injuries in the attack by the Hamas group and are undergoing treatment, is improving. The embassy also informed that the search for a missing person has been expedited with the help of all available local and diplomatic mechanisms including the police.
Meanwhile, Nepali citizens in Israel have been urged to remain calm and cooperate with the embassy, and follow the instructions of the local security agencies.
